ACS Processor R8, one 308EC, two 012 extension modules, one Partner VS R4.0 VM. Installed in private school, spread out campus. School does not have an external loudspeaker paging system. If I am reading the ACS documentation correctly with Group Calling Ring/Page it is announce only. If someone in a classroom picks up their handset the Group Calling Ring/Page is ended. Is their a way to make it by directional, i.e. a two way path? Any alternative suggestions?

Paging is one way, as you've seen. Anyone picking up the handset, or pressing the SPKR button stops the group page and turns it into an internal call with the paging originator.

From a phone to a single phone, Intercom * and extension number is a talk-back speaker call, assuming the HFAI button on the receiving phone is turned on before the call is placed.

I have never heard of multiple two way paths. TTT summed it up perfectly
