I will be installing 2 BCM 400s inside a clients large building to allow for a large amount of digital, IP and analog phones. The 2 systems will be mounted pretty much beside each other and networked.

Is it possible to do a page from a set on BCM #1 and have the page go through both BCM 1 and 2?

the goal would be to allow paging to every phone set on the entire phone network system.

Thanks for any insight.

I don't personally know of a way to do what you are suggesting. Perhaps someone else does.

If not:

Depending on how many digital, analog and IP sets you require, you may consider an Expansion Gateway configuration. The only thing is in this configuration, the resources available for IP sets is limited. If you were planning for only a few IP sets and mostly digital and analog sets, this would be a good way to go.

Expansion Gateway consists of 2 BCM's back-to-back but all sets are on one BCM while the trunks are on the other. This way your paging will work and every user is on the same VM system.

Just a thought...

One touch paging to both BCMs is not possible.
