On a Partner ACS 3.0 with a Bogen Amp, when a person is on hold, they can hear pages through the telephone? Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

What is your MOH source, and is it being played through the amplifier for background music also?

TouchToneTommy,

The MOH source is Satellite radio and yes, it is played through the amplifier for background music also...

You are probably taking the output of the amplifier into the MOH input; thus whatever comes over the speakers is heard by the caller on hold (hope they are always "nice" pages!)

You need to split the music signal at the amplifier input to run to the MOH input; hopefully the signal level will be sufficient to not need its own amplification.

TouchToneTommy,

We do believe we split the output signal coming out of the Telephone Paging Amp TPU-100B. The overhead speakers are screwed in on the 25V and COM. The MOH is coming out of the RCA output port of the amp and into the MOH port on the processor. When you are on hold the MOH sound is terrible, though it sounds great coming over the overhead speakers? When you are on hold, you can also here the page...I have been told it could be the processor and/or RCA cable. Any ideas?

Split the signal where it comes out of the music source, not out of the amplifier.
