We use an overhead paging system with an ATA186 hooked up to a Bogen C-60. Works well, however I'm struggling to find the reason that when there's a short period of no voice activity, something is hanging up the call.
For example, if I call the ATA/Paging system it picks up and I start talking....If I keep talking without any pauses the PA will run for about 30-40 seconds before it just randomly hangs up. If I call the PA and just mute the call, it will hang up on its own in about two seconds..
Could this be the ATA hanging up the call or would it be the PA system? The PA doesn't seem to have any time limit, but I can't figure out how the ATA would hang up a call on it's own...
