I have installed a Partner II system in a small elementary school. The school would like to install a small two speaker paging system for their playground. The playground is not large and the children are not all that noisey.
Can someone recomend a brand of amp, including watt size, model number and speaker size and type.

viking pa2a should work just fine Ive used a lot of them
it somes with one speaker you would need to buy a second

Is it a preamp plus Power Supply. I have been told that I should use a preamp to isolate the Partner port from the paging system?

How many horn speakers will the Viking drive?

Ive never used a preamp ,its a two watt amp , I think it does three horns ,top of my head Ive used at least 25 of these on partner 11s with no issues , in fact Im off to a site now that has one

they have a newer 3 watt one thats a little more money and does more horns

check them out here

good products, Ive never been disappointed in one

You could also look at Valcom. They use T/R from the phone system and an external power supply. Then the speakers are self amplified.

I use valcom for some applications but for something like this the viking product is hard to beat .

especially for the price
