hi, all!
i've mirrored my rootvg including the default paging space hd6 and changed the default primary dump device to /dev/lvdump.
and now i used the command lsps -a to check the status of the paging device. the result said as the following.

lsps -a
Page Space Physical Volume Volume Group Size %Used Active Auto Type
hd6 hdisk0 rootvg 10432MB 7 yes yes lv
even though i reboot the server, there still has one active paging device.
i have no idea if the hdisk1 will boot the system with its own paging space device resided on it when the hdisk0 is damaged.
is there any idea to active the paging space device on mirrored disk?

thanks a lot

hi!
I guess that paging space already has been mirrored.
Check your system with "lsvg -l rootvg" with command see if number of PPs is twice of LPs.

sorry! rs6000er
if you change the bootlist to hdisk1 and then system reboot, mirrored paging will be active automatically.

Don't forget to run bosboot to the mirrored disk ;0)
