Hello again,

We have a paging system at one of my buildings where the employees dial a 2-digit number to activate the page. I'd like to make this DID accessible. The page in this particular building is set up on a universal trunk card(the one in my building is set up on an analog DN).

How would I go about setting this up? I tried setting up a dummy 500 to forward to the paging 2-digit DN, but it didn't work. It kept going to the main system greeting. Someone had mentioned the inability to do "trunk to trunk" transfers. Is there a way around this?

Thanks,
-Tom in Scranton, PA

Add any DID number you like to use to your RPAX or RPAN code (whatever applicable) in LD 57
This might work for you

Thanks UTREG... but I'm not familiar with LD57. Would you mind going through the steps?

-Tom

LD 57
REQ CHG
TYPE FFC
CUST 00
FFCT YES
ASRC
....
....
RPAX "This prompt"
RPAN "or this one"

first PRT, FFC, CODE ALL to see if you are using: RPAX or RPAN (meet me or non meet me paging) then CHG, FFC, CODE RPAX "did nr" to add

Thanks, Utreg...

I pulled that list and I don't see either RPAX or RPAN. Does this mean I'm "SOL"???

Thanks,
-Tom
