Hello

I would like the receptionist to be able to push one button and annouce a call to the back area of the shop, the phone sets speakers will be plenty as the phone sets themselves reside in closed office area and not in a noisy environment.

I have tried using the (intercom "*70") but that doesn't work. I have read up on the "Calling Groups" programming but am not quite seeeing where that applies. If this is a good way of programming can we set up differnt "calling groups" so that we can page all extension, page just shop and program managers, and the last group would be to page the store area?

Can anyone assist me with thew proper programming of the reception set, extension 10, so that it will page through the set speakers on the ohter extensions?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Regards,
Dan

Intercom 70 is External Loudspeaker Paging, which won't work unless you have assigned a CO port as a page port, and of course you have speakers and an amp.

You have 4 paging groups available, 1 through 4. Their extension numbers are 71 through 74.

Assign extensions to each group through #502-(Group Number 1 through 4)-(Extension Number)-(1=Assigned/2=Not Assigned)

Page the groups by dialing Intercom *71 through Intercom *74

Assign a button for each paging group through Feature 00, the button to assign, Left Intercom, *7(X), Feature 00
