Have a customer with Partner ACS R 3 in a 5 slot carrier with a 206E module and a AT&T page pac. Every time they over head page from a couple of exts. the speakers squels threw out the warehouse, there was a speaker close to one of the ext. so my first thought was feedback from this speaker so I disconnected speaker and it did not change a thing. I made sure they were not using intercom *70 a silmultaneous page because a lot of their phones are close together and they are using the command intercom 70 so that rules out feed back between phones. I am at my wits end with this problem so any help would be much appreciated.

what happens if you disconnect the paging system from the partner and make a page through your buttset ?

ken1713 they are paging threw their handsets and I actually just took another call from this client and it is starting to happen on more exts. in the system. So I am probably going to make a sight visit to try to resolve this issue - so any tips I could try would be very helpful.

Try turning the volume down a little on the amp. If you can, move the speakers that are close to telephones further away. If you can't get the problem fixed then I would suggest trying a Bogen digital feedback eliminator.

There are less expensive feedback eliminators out there also, but that may be what you need. The sound quality is better from the Bogen.

If you are using 2554 sets in the warehouse, there are noise cancelling mics you can get that fit the handsets. They will also cut down on feedback. We use them in noisy enviroments.

Find out if anyone has been adjusting the speaker horn taps or amp volume. The speaker taps are dangerous because they could easily overload the amp.
