I am working with an IP Office 412 with about 120 44XX telephones. I have set up huntgroups with the office phones in it and created a short code to page the group and programed a speed dial to the short code on everyone's phone.
When paging is accessed everything work correctly except when someone goes to make a call right when a page is progress, the person making the call hears the page in the handset.
This makes sense to me, because basically the group page is an intercom speaker call to each of the extensions, so hearing the paging in the ear when the handset is lifted is to be expected.
However, all of the users hate it. Is there a way to disable this? Besides pressing 'Spkr' first.
Thanks!
