PAGING OVER SETS

Here is an easy question for you guys.... Is it possible to set up option 11c to page over all digital sets on the system (using the speaker)? If so what load and how do i go about doing this?

YOu need an external paging device. You can't do it from a phone to all other sets.

I should've been clearer. Once you have an external device then you can page via the telephone by dialing paging access code. But you cannot simply page from one set to all others without external paging device.

Thats what i wanted to know. we use building paging for all of our buildings. I was just curious if there was a paging function to the sets.. Sorta like the one way intercom funcion..

Not on the big switch. This does exist on the Norstar.

The Net6 Application Gateway has a feature that will allow paging through the sets speakers on IP phones only.

Other than that, the previous posts are correct. You cannot page through the digital sets. The only alternative is via an external paging system.
