Paging on an OPTION 81C

I don't believe that we have paging write now. Is there a seperate package that I can buy?I couldn't find anything on Nortel's website. Also I know that my old boss used to page by using a script but I can't figure that out? Anyone have any ideas?

You will need a seperate paging device, such as Valcom, and a Universal Trunk card.

Unless you are referring to the intercom on the phones. You can program intercom keys and talk phone to phone either with Ring announce or Voice announce.

Yes I'm talking about paging a pager.

you can page from mail (remote notification) or by dialing the access code.. you usually just need the access number.. from my switch i dial 9 352 plus 4 digits or 115 plus 3 for an in house page.. there is not a nortel package for that. a page system just connects to the switch via a route

telecomlady, you didn't mention what was supposed to initiate a page. Person, PC, MerMail, ? Heck ya you can page... , just dial the pager number.
