Paging on an OPT11 mini 1

Hey, I am trying to create a key on a 3904 expansion module that will activate the overhead page. The "number" is 8352 but I can't find it and I don't know what it is. It's not a DN, right? and I don't think it is a rout.

Also, I want to program DNs that are on a different OPT11 that is connected via tie line but I get sch0371 or sch0375 stating there is "a shorter directory number already exists" when I attempt to add it as a SCN.

Paging can only be done via a Paging route programmed in. The BCM and Norstar systems had a function where you could have different types to select.

The directory number issue is because you are using a shorter number for your tie lines and it's best to capture a log file when doing DNB in LD 20 to see what has been programmed.

Is there no way to program it to a key?

Print off the RDB in LD 21 for route 4. Look for the ACOD number. Once you have that, create either an ADL or Hotline key on your Digital phone and use the ACOD number.

That should work for you.
