Can someone give me a quick tutorial on paging Horns on Norstar systems?

What kinds can i use, how do I hook them up? Power requirements etc....

Your help is appreciated.

Please refer to paging 4 of your manual.... :)

On the other hand.. each KSU has a preamplified voice output connection of 600 ohms. That is fed through a normally open relay which closes when speaker paging is activated. From the preamped voice output you have many choices of horn/speaker and amp systems. Self amplified horns (which work well) 70 volt centralized amplifier systems and horns driven from a Duette Plus paging and ring generating unit made by Algo. There are other manufacturers such as Bogen, Tortech, Radio Shack (yes) and any other amp/speaker system that accepts a 600 ohm impedance preamplified source.
Norstar programming is Paging Y in set capabilities and Zones to set for different groups of phones. A good reference is the system feature card that SHOULD have come with your system.

Hope this helps a little.
