At one of my facilities, when the operator presses the paging button, it just rings. This is the site where the processor was just swapped out. Could it be that some of the translations did not transfer? I have WinSPM but it doesn't stay connected like it should, so I can't look at the Group long enough to get a good idea if there are extensions in the group. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Paging group just rings

Have the operator touch INSPECT and then touch the button they think is PAGING.
INSPECT will tell you what is really programmed there.
The beauty is, you can have them change the programming while you talk to them.
That way, if it's not *22, 799, you can make it so.
OR - if it should be the OUTSIDE LINE programmed for Paging, then you can walk them thru programming that as well. (Not as easy though...._
