Paging group and call pick up group questions in Avaya IPO 500 1

Dear expert,

1. Paging group #500 with 6 extensions 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305.
2. Call pick up group #501 with 3 extensions 300, 302 and 303.

When extension 302 and 305 were ringing, one of the pick up group member 301 tried to pick up the incoming call.
He would pick up both 302 or 305.

Is there any way that 301 user can pick up 302, not 305?

But 301 is not in the pick up group so what are they doing to pick up the call
