Hi guys. I have a question for you. We have a need for voice paging all over our facility, but we don't want to go out and buy a bunch of equipment. We have certain alarm systems that send out voice messages in our NOC. We want to have them also connect to our PBX, and page through the pbx when this happens. I was thinking about trying to connect the sound card to the PBX, then having the pbx send the page whenever something comes over these alarms. I can even have the alarms send dtmf if I need to dial a number. I know this sounds like a weird solution, but has anyone here tried anything like that before? Thanks in advance.
