My customer's paging company recently changed the all page code to 60##11, which is route access code, # # and 11 being the all zone page. It works great from all phones except the console. When the operator dials 60##, they get a fast busy as soon as the second # is pressed.
Is there a way to resolve this problem by allowing a feature in the customer data block? Or, any suggestions as to how to enable an all page from the 2250 console?

What is the ## for? Can you just dial 60, then 11 ?

Otherwise, try these steps:

Change the EOD and ODT TIMRs in the Paging Route Data Block to 128 and see if that works.

If not, you might have to add an "EES" key and dial the #61 after that.

ok, thank you I will try that and let you know.

Changing the timers did not resolve the problem. You said to add a "EES " key and dial the #61 after that.
They already have an "EES" key. What steps are you suggesting that we try using the EES key?

that does not work either, you still get a fast busy after the second #. If you just dial 60 ees key and 11, it also gives a fast busy.

60 is the route access code, then the ## is required by Valcom for 3 digit zones. Because it is a 24 zone system, they wanted 3 digit zones. It can be changed, but they don't want to. I do have a side phone that they are using temporarily.

Well, I still think with the EES key, you could probably do this. It's a matter of "when" to press it.

On the other hand, your side phone really takes out the complexity... I'd just stick with that.

In my opinion, no console should exist without a side phone anyways.
