paging files problem.

on my w2k pro., i'm having problem with my paging files. everytime i rebooted windows it would say that it is currently using the default paging file which is 20mb, but when i try to change the size it would not apply changes.
i logged in as administrator and as another user with admin rights and still no luck. is there another way of fixing this problem? any input is appreciated thanks.

For windows to not allow the increase in size would suggest that you do not have enough contiguos disc space. If you can change the size to 2MB -- if not don't worry, Do a defrag and then try that again
