I’ve noticed some newer Cisco phone systems that perform overhead pages announce a single dial tone burst at the end of the page, the moment the page disconnects either by hanging up he handset or pressing end call.
Is this a Cisco function? The same retail store used the same sound system with their earlier Toshiba system and there wasn’t a tone at the end of the page, just silence. As soon as they upgraded to Cisco on the same sound system, the tone started appearing. What is this single tone dial tone burst?
I find it unusual as usually you hear a tone at the beginning of a page, not the end.
