paging and night bells

I recently installed an IPO R9.0.3 to replace the old merlin legend. I have paging and the night bells working but the volume on the paging is very low. I am using the Bogan UTI1. The night bells are running thru the pagePal and into the RCA music input, and that is fine. I have the volume turned up to full. The page is coming out of the analog trunk. Looking for alittle help. Thanks.

We generally use a line matching transformer for unbalanced input, that tends to even things out a fair amount.

Wait, Ignore previous post. I've got a simalar issue happening, through the trunks. A matching transformer will not help in the least.

Alright, I really have to learn how to edit my bloody posts. Have you checked the impedance settings on your trunk? What are they set for? 600 Ohms should be perfect.

If you're going out through a trunk port couldn't you just mess with the gains or would the break something else? Total shot in the dark as I have never had a set up like this.

Instead of using a trunk port, try using an analog station port and go under ext and set it to paging, also keep your Bogen UTI1. Installed a lot and this works fine for me !
