Pagination Tips Please... 1

I'm just converting over from Quark for a major book project and need advice on how to set up pagination starting on a particular page after 4 - 6 pages of prelims, so page 1 is actually page 5 of the document (in Quark - select page goto Section - Start section etc..) a bit confused with the way InDesign is able to do this?

Click the little triangle at the top of teh pages window and pick Numbering and section options. Start the numbering whaere you want.

You can also access this via the Layout menu.
