This is my first time for using Tek Tips and I hope my question will be an easy one to answer.

I have a 20 page Brochure I am working on, that is redo from a previous use. I had to rearrange the pages as a result. Now my master page items of page numbers and footer information are not showing up on all the pages that I re-arranged.

In other words, the pagination still shows on pages whose order I did not alter.

I've checked "help" and it says there is a problem that occurs with PM and repagination. They offered a solution however that either did not make sense to me or just plain did not solve my problem. I tried doing what the directions said and the result is still no page number/footer info.

With Master Pages Palette open, the pages NOT displaying master items, say that they are tagged with the appropriate master page. I tried changing to "None" master page, and then back again, but that also did not work.

Help? I am--naturally!--on deadline, and the project should have gone out yesterday.

TIA

To ask the obvious, do you have 'Display Master Items' (under the View menu) checked for each page?

Eggles, you rule and I feel rather sheepish.

Funny enough, Display Master Items was only "on" for the pages that were showing the footer items. So, on my missing data pages, I turned Display Master Items on, and voila! I'm all set.

It did not occur to me if Display Master Itmes had been set "on" in the old document that it would change and turn off when I rearranged the pages.

But I am VERY glad you asked the obvious question. (and very sad that I did not think of it myself first)

Thanks for all the help!
