Is it possible to extract pages from one indesign document to another?

With the two documents open

Go to the document you want to move pages from

Go to the pages panel, select the pages you want and right click or cmd click on the pages and choose move.

Choose the Document from the drop down menu.

You might want to note that when you move pages to another document it will use the document you're moving to as the styles for paragraph styles etc.

So if you have an image that has a text wrap on it and you haven't made a new object style, then when you move it to the other document it will inherit the object style of None or Basic Graphic Frame, whichever, the text wrap will be removed.

Same with having basic paragprah and basic character styles applied to text, it will use the new document as the styles to use.
