Pages showing too far down online

Hi everyone!

I have a site that is ready to upload. Looks good in dreamweaver mx 2004 and looks good when i press F12. However, I have uploaded various pages to my hosting account, to check them out and all of them begin too far down the page. The banner isn't right at the top where it should be, but there is a massive gap above it. I have no idea what to do because dreamweaver shows it as looking ok. I'd be really grateful for any help or tips as i have hundreds of pages and the thought of redoing them all one by one fills me with dread. I don't understand coding, so don't know what to do.
