pages in frames

Can someone help me out with the Javascrip necessary for the following. I'm new to Javascript and not sure where to start.

I have a homepage that has a frameset. One of the frames is called 'main'. If a user enters the address of a specific page that would normally be displayed within the 'main' frame I would like the homepage displayed with that page in that 'main' frame. Any help would be great.

any url typed into the address bar will take over the entire viewport. there is nothing you can do about this... jared@eae.net -
