Pager Alert in AS7 for Netware

I can't get the Alert to beep my pager. The test works after adding a new item under ArcServe | Pager. I went into Admin and used the keyword "backup" (at the Alerts tab) just to get the darned thing to beep me and know it works. Nothing. Is there a step I'm missing?

Yes, the Alert service is running on my computer where the ArcServe Manager is installed (Win2k), I use the Shiva dial-out across the lan, and I leave the pc on all night....

Any clues? s-)

Well. My pager was numeric. The Alert system only supports alpha-numeric pagers although the menu choice is there for numeric type pagers. Go figure.
