Pagenumber problem

I have a report that contains a number of pages, Now I have the pagenumber in "falling" order ex 7,6,5,4 ... my problem now is that I need to have the pagenumber in set of numbers
ex if you write 2 in a box of some form I need
7,7,6,6,5,5,4,4
if you write a 3 you get 7,7,7,6,6,6 and soo on.


I could make a solution that just makes for ex 3 copies of the printout but then I dont get the number in a sequence ex 7,6,5,7,6,5,7,6,5

Any ideas is appreciated
