I'm running OS9 on a G3, and when trying to print out a two-page layout in pagemaker 7, i get a post-script error. i'm unable to get print monitor to come up to explain it. there are grey bars on the screen where text should be. could this be an issue with the font? it works fine on other pages, using that same font.

How did you place the text? What else is on that page? Are there graphics? How were they placed? It sounds as if you have some sort of corruption hapening, possibly with the font.

Make a copy of the doc, then on the copy, change the font to another known good font. Use something standard, such as Geneva. Try creating the PDF again and see if it works. If so, then the problem is in the font. If it still gives you a problem, the cause lies elsewhere. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
