Please help me. I am trying to add 5 pages in the beginning of a file pagemaker 7.0 but I want to number them i,ii,iii,iv,v and then have the rest 1,2,3,4 and so on.
I can't seem to figure this out. Please any ideas!!!

Pat,
An individual publication can in general only have one numbering scheme. The simplest way to achieve what you have in mind is to use the Book utility. For example, your TOC could be numbered i through v. The main document could be numbered 1 through 100. An Index could be numbered A through D. These are basically three separate publication documents that you combine in the Book utility.

Thanks for the info - I am curious if I have to submit the book to a publisher in book form? And attach the cover also as part of the book. Thanks

pat,

It is best to ask your service bureau what format they prefer. If they canhandle the PM docs, then make sure youinclude all pm docs that are part of your book, as well as all fonts and images. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
