Pagemaker Index

How do I get two columns in my index? If I use the columns option it squeezes the page numbers together when it gets to the column divider line. I can't find anything that addresses this in my Pagemaker 7 Bible.

You need to edit the style you are using for the idex paragraphs.

LIVERPOOL FC - 5 times Champions of Europe. 1977, 1978, 1981, 1984, 2005.

I have tried creating a style, which I didn't have. I still don't have two columns. Can you give me more explicit instructions. I am a beginner with Pagemaker.

Hi, jam3944,

Have a careful read of "Indexes, Contents, and Pagination" in the PM Helpfiles.

A paragraph style should be automatically created when you generate the index.
