Pagemaker 7 on OS9 classic 1

I have switched to a new Mini Mac after using a G3 for several years. I am running pagemaker 7 on OS9 classic. Some of the functions do not work, such as:
1. Toggling items in the tool bar by hitting command space.
2. Holding down on the shift key to keep the proportion the same when when resizing a photo. As long as the shift key is down, the cursor will not move.
3. The control pallet is stuck behind the icons at the bottom of the screen.
4. Holding down the shift key and then clicking and draging and area to enlarge it.
Are there any plugins to help resolve these problems? I am working on a catalog that has 300 pictures in it. Please help.

3. - Go to system preferences to hide the dock. Move PM's control palette up and then return to system preferences to restore the dock.

1., 2. & 4. are not normal behavior. You may have other system hotkeys assigned or you simply need to delete/restore the preferences for PM.
