Why would a Pagemaker 7.0 file with linked metafiles return a postscript error: Error (Undefined), Offending Command (sBdx) on a specific printer - Oce'? I can print the exact same file on a Canon, no problem. I have checked and reinstalled driver and PPD file and updated PPD in Pagemaker. Worked with Adobe, no help. The same metafiles can be placed in Quark file, no problems printing.

Hello,
Check out adobes doc. Troubleshooting PostScript Errors which gives information on what is causing a certain error.
follow the link below.

I can tell you that the cause is something in the file to that ps printer is not being understood.
It could be one item or more. It could be text or a graphic, or pdf file.
To locate what is causing the error look at what page is being spooled when it stops or gives the error.
Have you tried making the ps file then dropping it on the printer to print? Sometimes giving the printer time to process the information and not writing the ps file will give it time to print without an error.
Make sure the links are not broken.
Make sure everything is on the harddrive.
Making the reading and writing the ps file smoothly will sometimes give the program and the printer the time they need to process the info.
Good luck.
