Pagemaker 6.5 to Indesign CS2

I am converting a bunch of Pagemaker 6.5 files to Indesign CS2 and a lot of the text is getting misaligned requiring me to go into the file and adjust nearly every block of text. Is there an easy way to fix this issue?

InDesign and PageMaker use different tracking methods. You are bound to have these issues. Consider highlighting all of the text, resetting kerning to 0, and then experimenting with the optical and metric kerning options.
