Pagemaker 5.0 - print problem, comes up locked! Won't print

Trying to print documents in Pagemaker 5.0. When I try to print, error message occurs--Not expecting lock but lock occurs. Have tried everything I can think of, but still can't print. Anyone out there with a suggestion or help?

Sounds like you have corruption starting in the doc.
Check out the damaged pagemaker trouble shooting guide on
Adobes website under techincal docs.
If the doc isn't too long you can try copy and pasting into a new doc this will copy everything over without bring in the corruptions. Copy and paste is not a good pagemaker workflow but in some cases it will save a doc long enough to print without giving more problems.
Wish I had better suggestions.
