Hi All,
We have a 2008 64bit Terminal server (running in aplication mode)
All apears ok with no errors in the logs, howerver excel is very slow for users and hang in some spreadsheets for upto 15 sec.
The server have 16Gb ram and dual 2.5GB Xeon processors.
there are only 10 users that use it.
While trying to find an answer i noticed that windows had created a 24GB page file. could this be the issue?
I have read a couple of articals that state that if you have plenty of ram (16Gb) then no page file is recomended.
Does anyknow know what Microsoft recomends for 2008 64Bit?
Or has anyone come accross this slow excel on a terminal server
Many Thanks
