hi all,

has anyone experienced where a page loads fine in IE, but in NS or Moz it loads OK but the progress bar at the bottom keeps going like it's still loading?

I know that Netscape used to have a real problem with missing closing tags. For instance if you write a table and have a <td> and another <td> without a </td> between them, it would get confused. Check to make sure that you closed all <table><form><html><tr><td> tags.... Get the Best Answers! faq333-2924

thanks - i figured out what it was:

i had modified someone's old page that contained an image preload script...i wasn't using those images anymore so i deleted them but left the script...in NS & Moz the browser kept trying to load them!

argghh - so much easier just to start from scratch so you know what's going on! =========================================================

jemminger - I agree! I hate reverse engineering a program or script. Takes longer to figure out what it was supposed to do that if I coded it from scratch! There's always a better way...
