Can anybody explain to me why is it that when I preview a report (in Access 2000), the totals (Total for Report, Totals up to this page and totals this page) are correct for all pages, but when I print from report preview the first page gives me a negative value only on the first page for the total this page textbox, and all others are correct in values.
Is there anything I can do to force Access into resetting itself when printing from the preview screen.
(Ironically it works if I were to just print the report directly without previewing.)

This may be late, but Access remembers all the totals of variables in print preview and when you send it to the print, it adds to the totals again. Are you using code in the report? If so, at the start you must return all values to zero.

I always say thats its never too late.
thanks for the reply.
You figure with all the books on Access I have, I would have remembered such a small detail as resetting the values to zero. It just didn't sink in. Again thanks for refreshing my memory.
