Page size 1

I am trying to make my page size the same size as the art board, and can’t get it to work. I am trying to lay out a page that is 8 inches high and 22 inches long, and it just won’t let me do a page that long.
I’m working with an Epson Stylus C84. Could that be the problem? When I still had an Epson Stylus 600, I could make pages as long as I wanted, as long as they were not wider than 8.5 inches.

Yes, I think the page size is determined by the characteristics of the default printer. You could try adding a new 'virtual' printer - you only need to download the driver from the manufacturer's website.
