Hi all, is there a way to get the right floating column to be included in the page shadow? I've checked my div tags, so I don't think that's the issue.

There must be a way to do it without specifying an exact page length, right??

In firefox the floating column continues on without the page shadow; in IE the page shadow continues on without the column. Growl!

VICTORY! Thanks so much!

Probably a simple thing that I should have learned in class...oh WAIT, I never took a class - I knew I forgot something...:)

Anyway, I went with the "new way" in the link you provided and added

div#shadow{overflow: auto; width: 100%;}

Thanks again!

How floats actually work and affect the document flow is almost as misunderstood as positioning is, but once you grasp the concept it does become ludicrously obvious.
