page settings margins

I created a report and I narrowed the default margins to left and right 5. I save this. But while manipulating the report he always gets back to his default setting, how can I avoid this ?

I expect you are using Access 2000 without the latest office service pack installed. You can install all the service packs or for a quick fix, try select Tools->Options and uncheck all Name AutoCorrect boxes.
