Page prompting to save after hitting back button

I have some doc files that are on our local intranet that are linked to a contents page. When the user clicks on the link for the document, chooses to print and then clicks the back arrow they get a prompt that the page has changed and needs saving. Not all the doc links on the contents page do this. Any help will be appreciated.

That is not really HTML/CSS question as the application prompting for saving the document is Word. Even if the .doc is opened within the browser, it is still Word that manages everything that's going on with the file. Try asking in one of the MS Word/Office forums.
