I have two MXe III's on version 6.0 SP3 on a new install.

there is a physical controller at each site with those phones connected to that box and resilient to the other.
I have page zones set up with all local phones in zone 1 and all phones at the other site in zone 2.

The zones are set up as local only and the ID is 1 and 2

I press Direct Page, then the 1 key and wait, it says "PAGING 1" and works great but if I try to page the other site, I get NO DISTB on the display.

I found this in the help file but im not sure what I need to add to my ARS or what Im missing elsewhere.

Group Page (Networked)

Description
Group Paging can be completed across a network or cluster. This allows a set on system A to page a specific group defined on system B. DISA trunks may initiate a group page.

Conditions and Feature Interactions
The group must have all of its members on the same system.
Meet Me Answer is not supported across DISA or E&M trunks.
Networked Group page is not applicable to Symbol Wireless phones.
Also refer to the Group Page conditions.

Programming
If systems are networked, ARS programming must allow sets on one system to dial Page Groups on other systems.
If systems are clustered, sets initiating a Group Page must be programmed so the directory numbers of the sets in the remote group appear as Remote DNs.

Create your page groups with the same number of digits as your extensions

The you can page site to site using the cluster programming

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

i changed it to 4 digits and I still get the same error.

Be sure you have enough DSPs in the system to support the number of page destinations; actual numbers available in Engineering Guidelines and Technician Handbook

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

I think I found the issue. I was using local only DN's to try and make the zones easy on customers that were moving between sites.

I ended up changing to 4 digit page zone extensions and using 4441 and 4442 on system 1 and 4443 and 4444 on system 2 with only local sets in the zones.

I then used a CDE speedcall to dial the FAC of the direct page + 444 so they only need to press 1 through 4 to page those zones.

so now it seems like its working if I dial the page key and press zone 4, it will say ringing, then paging 4444. I don't have any one on site over there to hear if audio comes through though so we will see if its working tomorrow.

**I also allowed paging in the COS for the IP trunks**
