Hi all

We run Info Desktop through Citrix Metaframe. I was wondering if there was a global setting for changing the 'Page on demand from server' setting?
At the moment I have to enforce the setting per user (250+!) and it is tedious to say the least.
Any ideas?

Steve

this right can be controlled at the user group level (bypass page on demand) and thus you can force all people to use page on demand - by only giving the administrator group this right.

is that what you meant??

On the other hand, if you want to disable the 'Page on Demand' browser and default to the Info Analyzer then you will need to do this at the user level.

I actually ran into this scenario. My client determined that the default viewer would be the Info Analyzer. If deny 'Bypass Page on Demand' at the User or Group level in the Info Administrator then the field is disabled in the User's Options dialog box. The problem is that it defaults to page on demand which is a logical choice. You'd have to uncheck the 'Page on Demand' box in the Options Dialogue box for each user. There isn't any other method that I'm aware of (short of building your own administrator app).

Rhinok - You are indeed correct.

This is what I want to do at my place, but was hoping there was a way around visiting all 300 users to change the BPOD setting. Thanks for the clarification though.

Cheers

Steve
