page numbers to restart when a new person's record starts

I have a Crystal 10 report with many group headers. I want group header 1 which is the person name. I want the page numbers to restart when this group header 1 changes.

What I tried was to check the box which states " Reset Page Number After" in Section Expert for both the Group Header 1 and Group Footer 1, however this resets the page number but not for each record.

You need to set "New Page After" and "Reset Page Number After" on the Group Footer only. For the new page after, add a formula:

not onlastrecord

...so that you don't get a final blank page.
