Page numbers cut off

I have a user running office 2000 and when he puts page numbers on a word document and prints the numbers are cut off. Has anyone ever ran into this problem or know what a fix might be?

Cut off...

1. where is the page field placed?

2. cut off from top, bottom, left, right?

3. have you checked page setup margins & header/footer?

I have tried placing it on the bottom right and also the bottom middle. It appears to be all word documents.

They all appear to be fine. The strange thing is the number 1 prints ok but anything after that is differnt. You can tell in the print preview that it will be cut off. The Margins are set to 1" I believe.

Is there a Section break? If there is, is Same As Previous activated in the header or footer, whereever the page number field has been inserted?

I got it to work now. I had to actaully change the left and right margins for some reason. Thanks for your help..
