Page numbering with subreport

I have a report with one subreport which prints the same info as the main report. I want to set up so that if there are more than 19 detail lines, it will print to a new page. Page 1 of the main report and page 1 of the subreport should appear on the same page. I am able to get the following:
Page 1 = page 1 of subreport
Page 2 = page 2 of subreport and page 1 of main report
Page 3 = page 2 of main report.
Any suggestions for how to get this working properly?
