Page numbering and breaks in Word

I have a user writing a lengthy report in Word 2003 who is experiencing some problems with page numbers.

She has a large multi-page table which she would like to insert in landscape while the rest of the document should be in portrait.

She inserted 'next page' section breaks and added the table. The formtatting works fine but the page numbering restarts after both breaks.

I've had a look and tried to figure out whats happening, but so far I've not managed to get the numbers to continue throuh the whole document.

Any help greatfully recived.

Try removing the current page numbering.
Re-add, being sure that in Page Number Format dialog box, "Continue from Previous Section" is selected.
