Hi,

I have a problem resetting the page numbers correctly. I have a report which breaks at a credit union level. I am getting the page number rested at the break of the new credit union. This will happen only when I suppress the credit union group header. When this report is exported to a excel or word document the credit union group headers are not printed and the whole data is printed under a single credit union which is on the page header. Our users were confused after looking at the document data. If I unsuppressed the group headers then the group headers are shown on the excel and word document but the page numbers are not printing properly on the report and all pages showing page 1 of 1. Is there any way to show the group headers and page numbers printing properly.

Thanks,
Hamida

Hi

What I suggest is that you can use a conditional manual running total as your page number and use the changing of the group to reset the page number. I would include a separate group footer instead of the page footer to put this in. What you will have in the end is a group header(not suppressed) the data and then any other group footers with totals etc(if any) and finally a group footer with the page number at the bottom.

If you are unsure of manual running totals, you can check out the FAQ that has been written on these

If I have miss understood your question, please let me know.

Hope this helps.
