Hi,

I am really new at pagemaker and I got an annual report of about 50 pages to edit. The first 2 pages are of Title and acknowledgment. All of the pages have page numbers inserted on them and it starts from Title page.

What I want to do is that the Page number 1 should start from Page 3 of document. Just like we create Section break in word. How can I do that? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Unfortunately you cannot create sections in PM like you can in Word. The best workaround is to create two separate PM docs - one for the first two pages, and another from page 3 (which will be page 1) onwards.

If your workflow it to ultimately convert the PM files to PDFs (say, for commerial printing) you can merge the two PDFs into one using Acrobat which can have the page numbering sequence for the whole document correct.

Alternatively, after creating your two separate PM docs, they can be combined into one using the Book function (NOT Build Booklet).
